Adult eligibility
TGBA Season One is for adults age 18 and older. By registering you certify that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to the TGBA Terms of Use and related policies.
TGBA records the date, time, and exact version of this certification, together with a short-lived record of IP address and browser information used for security. TGBA does not collect or store your date of birth.
Season One does not require government identification. Do not send a driver's license, passport, or other government ID. If TGBA ever uses an exceptional identity-document process, it will give a separate notice before collecting any such document.
If you are under 18, do not create an account. Misrepresenting your age or eligibility may result in removal from the league, account deactivation, and retention of only those records needed for security, legal obligations, and competition integrity.
Individual registration is mandatory
Every player creates and verifies their own account. This applies whether you join as an individual free agent, are recruited by another participant, or already play with an established Crew or friend group. A captain cannot register, accept policies, or accept a roster position for you.
One franchise per roster period
A person may be active or reserve for only one Season One franchise across the regular season, Association Cup, and playoffs. Being named in a franchise application, a group chat, or an NBA 2K Crew does not by itself make you eligible to play a TGBA game.
You may not register or participate if your TGBA account is suspended or deactivated, or if a TGBA eligibility or disciplinary decision currently bars you.
How this acknowledgment is recorded
When you check the eligibility box on the registration form and create an account, TGBA stores this version of the Eligibility acknowledgment against your account as an age_18_or_over attestation. Later changes to this document create a new version; your original acknowledgment stays attached to this version.
